I think your ideas are pretty good tom, I was especially interested in the reggae magazine and I think the names you have suggested are good, but I favour 'Jammin' as it connotes a free and happy music style, which suits the reggae scene, due to the gap in the market of this type of magazine you have to consider that there will be little to research, but your ideas look promising.

Any of these would be a viable idea - you must think about what would be realistic for you to photograph. The 'Shred' title is really good and , perhaps, this would be easier for you to arrange photography shoots for?
